1930s English Arts and Crafts
The cabinets were designed with slightly exaggerated proportions for a handcrafted folk art look. Details like the arched toe kicks hark back to characteristics of both the kitchens of the ‘30s and the curvilinear designs of English Cottage homes. Other period-appropriate touches include characteristically bumping out the sink, which we echoed on the opposite wall with the stove. Exterior porch pendant lights add to the English Cottage feel, as does the use of stained glass in the upper cabinets.
