We took this 1905 Craftsman Bungalow kitchen from a claustrophobic, virtually unusable room into a compact yet welcoming space.
Disguising appliances behind cabinet fronts allows the natural light to reflect off a seamless surface of light wood finish, opening up this once cramped space. A built-in eating bench and custom-made table provide the family the breakfast room they never thought they’d have in a kitchen this size.
The central island contains a stainless steel prep sink and a flip-up cutting board extension. A built-in hutch with reeded glass serves as much-needed storage and a beautiful display piece.
